ClearOne Showcases Next-Generation Audio Conferencing Technologies at 2007 NSCA ExpoSALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ClearOne (OTC: CLRO.OB - News), a global provider of audio conferencing products, today announced that the Company will showcase their state-of-the-art audio conferencing solutions at the 2007 NSCA Expo in Orlando from March 15-March 17.

Those attending the show will have a chance to view the next-generation Converge™ Pro series of professional-grade conferencing systems which are scheduled to ship in the first half of 2007. The new Converge Pro products deliver a full range of audio routing, automatic mixing and signal processing, and feature ClearOne's next-generation advanced acoustic echo cancellation. A/V integrators will particularly appreciate the features of the Converge Pro that will help in decreasing installation and support costs, such as HTML-based remote management agents, simplified configuration software, drag and drop A/V and channel objects, configuration parameters that change instantly instead of requiring compiling and uploading, and much more.

The Converge 560 and 590 offer optimum audio performance and flexibility for medium-sized conference rooms at a price point well below competitive offerings. The systems allow customers to connect their preferred microphones, and feature an innovative mic distribution system which transports microphone signals over a single Cat 5 cable back to the mixer. The included intuitive controller eliminates the need for more expensive control systems. The Converge 560 includes an audio mixer, two microphone distribution boxes with three XLR connectors per box and a wired or wireless controller, while the Converge 590 comes with all of those offerings in addition to a third distribution box. The Converge 560 and 590 simply deliver the best value for a 6- or 9-mic audio conferencing system.

The Tabletop Controller gives XAP and Converge Pro users the ability to easily start and navigate an audio conference without the need for touch panel control systems, which typically cost thousands more. The controller resembles a telephone keypad, giving users instant familiarity and eliminating the need for training.

"ClearOne has enjoyed tremendous success in the professional A/V space with market-leading audio conferencing platforms," said Steven Andresen, ClearOne's vice president of worldwide sales. "With the Converge Pro and other products introduced over the last year, ClearOne continues to deliver significant advancements in performance and ease of use that bring added value to our channel partners and end users."
